Vegeta's big bang attack has some pretty fast start up, does 1/3 of the Opponents HP, It's a guard break no matter what, along with that is has tracking the only downside to it is it's end lag but you can have another Vegeta as a support use Big Bang attack to defend himself.

Saiki can have rocks float around him making it so that attacking him physically is impossible since the rocks will stay around him forever unless you are hit by them.

Seems like gag manga only get one character, so it makes sense why KochiKame only has Ryotsu.

Whereas JoJo's not a gag manga, despite how some people try their hardest to make it seem like one to the uninitiated.

i'm not interested in many of the manga in the game (only three; Yu Yu Hakusho, D.Gray-Man, and Bobobo) and the most-wanted franchises from me were Death Note and Black Cat

I would have at least like to see some represenation from Death Note or Shaman King excluding the Yoh support files.

In a suprising turn of events, Namco has released a new scan with characters today (supposedly much earlier then planned due to the game's succes). Oddly enough, Yoh Asakura appears to be promoted to playable character, alongside Kinnikuman and Black Cat's Train Heartnet. The scan also reveals Eren Jaeger and Ryuko Matoi as playable characters.
