like you guys i'm highly against censorship. but this would bring about a lot of issues in America. better to just change it and than leave it and deal with possibly bigger backlash especially with our ESRB. when i went around looking this up more i saw some comments saying why not make the game rated M and i just shook my head. the scene tbh isn't even that big a deal that it needs this much controversy.

it's not like it is the most important part of the game it's not like they said they removed the ability to marry her they just changed how you go about it. which we have no idea how it is but hopefully it's better than the Japanese one. people act like this ruined the whole f*** game.

With something like that it's perfectly fine that they'd want to change it, as support conversations aren't as big of a deal as most people would like to think. That's something you can't directly translate over and expect it to be accepted the same way it is in the original region. It doesn't ruin the game in any way, it's just a different method of getting the same result.

I didn't got interested in Fire Emblem for the booties and waifu in the first place so as long as they don't touch the gameplay and replay value I'm still going to buy it.

What's going to piss me off is if they can actually put the 3 games in a single cartridge for the special Edition.

there's also the fact that this conversation clearly only exists because they didn't want to lock you out of marrying a lesbian character, which is a bit stupid as well

anyway, i guess this is all dependent on what they change it to in the translation. to be honest, locking you out of marrying the character and removing the reference to putting magic powder in her drink (seriously what the f***) are both fine-ish (as fine as changing the original vision can be). Worst case scenario they make the character straight, but I don't think they'd go in that direction
