No but Volnutt exactly scream Megaman Legends! because his moveset is entirely based on his arsenal in Megaman legends (or not.. idk)

Rock Volnutt's Strengths and Weaknesses
• Strengths •
+ The most versatile projectiles in the game.
+ Special attacks are not complicated to pull off.
+ Weapon switching makes all normals very safe.
+ Can avoid chip damage and projectiles entirely with the shield.
+ Level 1 Hypers are very strong and utilizable.
+ Can get some really damaging combos going with weapon switching.
+ Is probably the best Capcom character to fight the Giants with.
+ Has good foot speed, dash speed and dash distance.

• Weaknesses •
- Below average stamina.
- Keeping up a wall of projectiles can be very difficult.
- Holding the wrong weapon at the wrong time can get you killed fast.
- Your special moves are limited entirely by weapon switching, not available to you all at once.
- Is a very execution heavy character.

Idc which MegaMan gets in... At least respect the mascot Capcom has grown a huge fanbase from.. Not toss it away

Guys. This topic wasn't made to discuss Capcom's blatant abuse of the Mega Man fanbase. This is about the future of the Marvel Vs. Capcom series and where we think it should go from here. I'd hate to have Geno lock this topic for something irrelevant.

We're comparing how each Mega Man plays; I don't really see how this is irrelevant.

Personally, I see Classic Mega Man's combos more strange and awkward than Volnutt's.

Thats an odd comparison. Clearly somebody forgot the system mechanics or has been looking in youtube videos to come up with poor assumptions.

Sure: The 3 button control scheme may be fairly similar but don't let that fool you from the gameplay mechanics themselves.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom =/= Marvel vs Capcom 3

Now to add something to get me back on topic: Why u no make Heroes and Heralds Local Multiplayer!? >.<

It got cancelled because of a spain controversy regarding king Juan Carlos

However, there was a trick where you could play any DLC costume without purchasing it but then Capcom patched that so R.I.P magneto alt :c
