I was hyped for him at first, then felt like: "Wait. This lil thing doesn't carry much hype." Then it just warmed up to me. It was like an emotion circus with BDD. Luffy I felt the same, but I still feel less as hype about him than BDD.
And yo, BDD lookin' clean too. His animations and visuals are top-notch. His gameplay is definitely of the most unique, and that's saying something when oddballs like Sandbag Isaac and Luffy were announced.

I don't think he would benefit much from such a move at this point. When designing characters you sometimes have to pick what to incorporate and what not. Adding a move simply for the reference is usually not a good idea.

I can understand that, though I was hoping I could do disrespectful spikes a-la Toon Link using him, haha. Oh well, the rest of his moves are all fine, though.

I don't know why, but I want Bandana to make squishing sounds whenever he's hit or crouches, or moves, that'd just make his cuteness level rise up to 340% >_<'
