It might be a thing, but a shield-drop -> platform-drop dtilt would look pretty damn cool.

Keep FD's v0.9b platform but use the background in beta.

I don't want 9b platform... I do think that the Beta FD platform should be harder to get ''pinnappled''.

Ugh. This post is unnecessarily hostile, but whatever. A. I actually changed my mine on ledge-trumping, but you obviously don't know what that is. At least not in Smash 4. B. You're right. Ledge-snapping makes recovering much easier, but I didn't suggest it out of ease. I suggested it out of balance. If you're going to have moves like Lloyd's side-special and DK's super-punch then ledge-snapping is pretty essential (IMO). Getting punished so hard because you missed the ledge by 2 pixels is a little to harsh (IMO). The lack of ledge snapping actually makes some characters worst than what they'd actually be (Chibi-Robo, Sora, etc...), and some characters better than what they should be (due to there edge-guarding tools being to sufficient... IMO).

Stages with really awkward walls would benefit. Poor marios when they get shoved on dreamland.
They tried to hug the wall, and even the wall rejected him.

Not really technically impossible, but you'd need to make the file size giant for it to work, AKA about minimum 4x the space needed. You'd have to make code, sprites, pretty much everything for every single costume separately which would be a nightmare, both for developers due to the time needed and players due to the first loading screen and lag. The way they made the costumes is genius, because it saves a lot of space on a hard drive, and makes sense to do more than tediously repeating code for EVERY SINGLE COSTUME.

Just a random suggestion
Maybe transforming characters (only Zelda/Shiek so far) could get their "transformation move" moved to a taunt and get another attack (like Bouncing Fish Down-B for Shiek)
Just a random suggestion I just randomly thought of when I was comparing SSF2 to other smash games
On that note, maybe "Melee Mode" or something in Special Smash, basically having Melee-only stuff like the airdodges, wave-dashing, etc.
Also on the note of taunts, maybe having 'feint taunts' for some characters, kinda like Goku's kaio-ken taunt. Examples could be Bomberman Detonate taunt, Megaman Weapon change taunt, Pikachu Thunder taunt, and maybe Zelda/Shiek Transformation taunt. And the taunts can be cancelled into anything.
Just a few suggestions, no h8 m8s

I know I already said this in the General Speculation, but is there a way to allow multiple Final Smashes at the same time? Since Final Form Brawl is more or less dead, it would be a good alternative option to have Final Forms fighting each other when active. Don't know how it could work with the other Final Smashes though like Landmaster and such.

Hey there I'd just like to say that matches on Online mode would be much neater if there was a Player Limit option. About 4 times in the past 5 minute of attempting to host a 1v1 match, 2 people jump into the room at almost the same time, making it a 3p free for all, which ruins the room and forces me to repeat the process. Not to mention the times when I want to Rematch someone and another player joins in between matches Giving an option to Limit the players in the room when hosting, in my case limit them to 2, would make things a lot better.

Alright, here is a copy-pasta by a person who made an account in 2009 but then quit joining the forum and forgot his password so I'm making this for him. It's bout frikin "Hear me out for a bit, the Megaman redesign looks really good and polished, but I never liked the Megaman appearance in Smash 4, he looks too chubby and weird and feels kinda unmegaman-like, I mean I understand his appearance is based on the gameplay of the NES Megaman games and he's a robot but he never acted that stoic really much. I feel like maybe can you guys maybe add a feel to him? Like he's alive and constantly on the move? Let's try to compare his forms in the media. How the general public sees him: http://gonintendo.com/system/file_uploa ... ga_man.jpgCover Art: Comics: All these media have a megaman representing some kind of emotion to him, which is something I grew up with, he's the astroboy of video games after all. The SSB4 appearance looks uncanny and kinda unsettling plus the fact he never blinks at all. Maybe I propose to add animations to his idle pose to make him feel more like the blue bomber like the images above or atleast blinking or a moving idle sprite like the old SSF2 megaman? I mean he looks very stiff and come on we want originality to differentiate from the mainstream smash games. (credit to the artist who made this)This by far the best idle sprite suited for Megaman's latest appearance and really resembles back the old SSF2 sprite: It's just a suggestion, like I said make megaman more alive or something, his idle sprite seems so stiff and very unalive, the 'he's a robot' thing seems to contradict the most forms he is decipted at. The old SSF2 idle sprite feels like Megaman even though it's just the MM7 sprite"

Suggestions from Me.. -Shield's SFX should be the SSB4 Shield SFX. -Megaman should have those Blue Orbs KO things everytime his sent to the Blast Zone. -Peach's Float should have some sparkling effect like in SBB4. -Peach's Uair should have the rainbow effect.

I thought Melee was the only game with that effect? I could have sworn it was absent from Brawl and 4.
