Was messing around to see what would make his normal attacks with recoil damage be useful in some situations FSmash is most likely his strongest smash, and DSmash is slightly weaker but "safer" due to no recoil damage, so that one is a bit obvious FAir: it seems to have momentum-based knockback except on the last hit as i have noticed, if you're precise enough you can even meteor smash the opponent with it (so technically pichu has 4 different meteor smashes), and while the final hit has relatively weak knockback, it's at a semi-spike angle, which allows it to be followed by other moves (a discharge FSmash would likely KO too) If done correctly, they won't even move away from Pichu and instead stay close when you cancel FAir by touching the ground (you can tell which DI by looking which direction is Mario walking) And now with floatier characters, this is a bit tougher to do, but like i said - if you do it correctly, they won't even be knocked too far from Pichu (similar to the previous GIF, just see where is jiggly walking to so you know which DI is made) and... yep, even at 999% you can still make FAir keep the opponent in place, this one was more for curiosity than anything else lol so i guess his FAir is a bit of a confirm move (of course not guaranteed) when it lands DAir: The most obvious part about it is the meteor smash, but what about when landing on the ground? The knockback is much weaker, but it seems to stun for long enough that you can follow up with an aerial attack, the way it throws the opponent without causing tumbling (until a certain point of course) probably makes it tougher to DI another gif i guess: show Of course, depending on who is the opponent, you may need to jump higher FThrow: It... does slightly more damage than down and up-throw i guess... the knockback angle is somewhere between the both, and it doesn't have a lot of growth either, the follow-ups are similar to Up and Down throws, so i don't see much use in his forward throw compared to up/down throw

Have you tried DI Up or down though, and also consider tech rolls and what pichu can do then. (Also the stuff on Jiggs was not even close to being true)

Hmm, well, my keyboard can only do so much with controlling 2 characters at the same time without it going unresponsive due to too many inputs at the same time, but i'll try some more and on the part with jiggs i meant to say it was much tougher to land FAir without causing her to go flying off, but i guess you have a point If it doesn't cause tumbling, they may have enough time to put up the shield during FSmash's startup (but not DSmash) So it seems that Pichu's discharged FSmash stays out for about as long as a tech/tech-roll (a frame perfect tech with Mario managed to dodge it), may or may not out-range a tech-roll going away, and will miss if they manage to roll behind Pichu, so this one depends more on spacing, and just maybe frame data 3 different outcomes In some cases, FSmash comes out before they touch the ground, unsure if they can jump away though Also, DSmash comes out much faster than FSmash does, which may help to prevent the opponent from teching or jumping away, though it doesn't reach as far as discharge FSmash, or high enough to hit above Pichu if they DI upwards, so i suppose this also depends quite a bit on DI reading

If you guys didn't realized, when pichu activates its discharge state (50%) it uses the ice climbers voice, I heard perfectly at the stream (that's a fun fact BTW).
