Should the gems be available to truly anyone (such as even commoner NPCs) or to only certain people, either by destiny, by having a certain item required to use gems, or by simply having skill in it?

Simple Gems such as a 'Repair' spell would be widely used, while a 'Wyrven' summon would take skill. Some Gems would have equipment effects.

We have the setting, we have the general theme. Now, we need some sort of plot.

In any case, This won't work. At all. With this many RPers, everyone's going to disagree with each other's views and ideas, because frankly, hey, we're human. We want our own to be our own. Before you know it, this is going to devolve into chaos. And if this does make it through, it will probably be no better then any other RPs here. Sure, sometimes, combined ideas work. Most of the time, they don't.

I mean, I thought Joat's card idea was a bit cliche (Thanks to anime, I might add), but I thought it could work wonderfully if used correctly.

My point is, We all have our own opinions. And thusly, the chances of someone going "OWAIT! BUT I DON'T LIEK THIS IDEA! TAKE IT OUT NAO!" is high with everything posted.
