I think he wants Link to be moer canon to TP, so more usage of the Sword Skill, items n stuff.

Yeah I mean I would like to see link use all the tools you get on the quest. I know not all the tools can be used but a change up would be nice. Link to the past was my favorite story line so I always wanted him in smash.

Basically a custom moveset for Classic Link.

I'd personally like to see Batman or Superman to represent DC. Spider-Man, Wolverine, or Iron-Man to represent Marvel. And finally Spawn, to represent indie comic books. (Though Witchblade would be cool to.) I don't know. I just think it would be fair to appeal to both the fandoms of comics and anime.

It would be fair, but most people would like to see video game characters. The game already received some negative criticism from some for adding anime characters.

That's stupid. The presence of none video game characters is what makes this game kind of cool.

It is true. The game wouldn't be as popular as it is today without the presence of anime characters. But the negative criticism comes from how they are played. Most people complain about Naruto because majority of online abuses his somewhat campy playstyle or they complain about Goku because they don't know how to deal with Ki-blasts or Kamehameha.

So, basically what you are saying is that we should throw away all the effort the SSF2 Devs have spent in this game because it should focus more on comic and manga characters.

Shiver-Star, don't blow up what he said out of proportion. He just saying that some of the appeal of the game is the fact that there are playable characters that are not originate from video games.

Now personally, I would like to see at least one more non-video game playable character. More comic character than manga, but that's my preference. It's partially why I used Spider-Man as the main character in my April Fool's SSF2 expansion trailer. The main feedback I got (besides everyone calling fake on an obviously fake trailer) was that Spider-Man in the game is a laughable and stupid idea.
