They are almost defeated in the battle but the army has been defeated and then they all rush towards shadowy man Link then says with a fire in his eye and the tri-firce on his hand glowing "Time for my best echnique" He than does the triforce slash and mario says "Letsa go!" And does the mario finale!...

But their attacks were blocked out because the Fortress gates were inpenatrable, the only one's who passed through were Penumbra and Sakuro.

They than get defeated utterly and extremely horribly due to lack of help... but wait There was a blind spot in the fortress!

Which penumbra gets easily cast aside... however the others are trying to break through but jiggs just walks in the front door and sonic... while the otherws are facing the wall they all notice the front door but another army appears!

Penumbra is killed and the Shadowy man is revealed to be Penumbra's Brother, Umbra and Sakuro fights and holds off Umbra right before the fighters appear

Penumbra wasn't a trophy at all...he really was dead...yeah.

Which everyone cries for penumbra but someone is actually laughing about it and now ganondorf bowser and *insert a bunch of generic badguys here* are trying to ressurect shadowyman!
