Hi all
I´m having problem while i am animation some sprite sheets
i´m using flash CS3
Its ok when animate a simple running or a simple attack of a character and i save it as a SWF
but when i´m going to use this animation on another flash animation as a movie clip, the animation of the running character becomes as a JPEG animation, and that really sucks ;/~
i dont know when this happen
What can i do to this animation look better?
And this is the way of all person who animation make? First make a SWF of all kinds of movement and then latter put it all together in the same animation??
Thank you for attention
P.S.: sorry the english, i´m a brazilian guy

this will take some time, but if you have patience, here we go:
go into paint, and open up the first animation of him runing.
then hilight everything and press ctrl C
Save it as a gif by the drop down list before you hit the save button.
it should say that the picture would come out discolored, thats ok. hit ok.
now press ctrl V.
then save it again but press save besides save as.
do this to all of the animations and you should be fine.

I always use gif... In flash a png file comes up screwed up so I tried it in gif format and it came out fine.

There is no difference except gif screws up the colors.

oh, i know what you mean. if you draw a red circle, and you save it as a gif, it comes out discolored in paint. But what I told him was to hilight the whole sprite and copy it before he/she saves it as a gif, then after he saves it as a gif and it comes out discolored, you paste the before sprite and it won't be discolored. THEN save it again and it should come out fine.
Is using a PNG file faster?
