Most software is made for PC.
You can do more with PC.
PC has more Operating Systems.
PC is more customizable.

Yeah, the only one I'd get away with as an argument would be the 'overpriced' one, the other two wouldn't stand against him. Then again, he'd also say that you are paying for quality.

'do more?' Doesn't that come under 'most software'?

Can you upgrade your hardware for free on Macs? What specs can you get at the same price as a Mac for one PC? I'm not much a Windows advocate but I have to admit since it holds the majority of the market, most of the software is made for it too (even if he uses Linux based systems then he shouldn't use a Mac).

Mac is based on unix, so you're technically paying for something that's free.

Also, video games are usually built around the sole concept that you're running Windows.

Most Mac owners will try to rebutt that point with Boot Camp.

Well if you had Windows you wouldn't need to dual boot.

At that point, I just tend to pass out from laughing uncontrollably.

But Mac OS has no viruses!

No one makes viruses for the Mac cause they don't care about the Mac OS. Considering that most major corporations use Windows, writing a virus that stole information from a Mac would be kind of useless. I have used PCs all my life and have not gotten a virus I couldn't fix. Use virus protection, be smart on the internet, and for the love of god, don't click on that ad to enlarge your p****.

They are easier to use!

The difference between a Mac and PC is like the difference between a tricycle and a motorcycle. One is easy to ride, and you won't get hurt. The other one is harder to use and you might get hurt, but it's one hell of a better ride.

Well if you want to talk in hardware terms, Macs are pretty damn overpriced for what they give you. Take any Mac's specs, go to Newegg and build a similarly spec PC, and you'll probably find the PC is much cheaper. And once it breaks, you can't fix it yourself. If something goes wrong with my PC, I simply take out 2 screws and replace the bad part (and each part has many reputable brands to choose from). If something goes wrong with the Mac, I have to choose between an expensive repair service, or somehow cracking open the case and hoping to god that someone sells the replacement part.

But can't Mac boot under Windows?
So isn't the reason that it's so horrificly overpriced is because you're technically buying two in one?

Mac users usually have large egos and like to buy the hardware because "If it's expensive, it has to be better."

I don't understand why people want something like it.
