Sorry if the link is long, but use this to see my revised tier list. Also, sorry for double posting.

So apparently, Fox is the worst because his Up-b covers no distance, yet he has a semiclone who has the same exact move except that it covers half of the distance? And his double jump is among one of the best double jumps in the game according to this: https://mcleodgaming.fandom.com/wiki/Jumping. And his blaster is meant to add chip damage or to force approaches. Your knowledge on Fox is uninformed. Even if 1.1 Fox is just a shadow of his former glory, his frame data is still really good and he still has a decent amount of kill confirms.

Sonic's okay, but he loses to Tails. Tails' range is better and has slightly more disjoints, has a much better aerial maneuverability from his multiple jumps, has projectiles to prevent Sonic from going aggressive, and possesses a much better combo game (mainly to to grabs and a much better frame data). Sonic almost goes even with Goku because he isn't crippled from the fact that his recovery is relatively solid, unlike Goku's.

Also, Black Mage is not high-tier. Haste is not a combo stater, that's what moves like Meteor, n-air, up-tilt, f-air, and up-air are for. In fact, Haste is actually a kill move and a combo finisher. And Black Mage's up-b is actually one of the easiest recovery moves to telegraph, as it has no hitbox, Black Mage itself is still vulnerable to being hit during up-b. And having a spike move doesn't make a character any more special (albeit still flashy), because you can also yield the same effect with any other move like b-air.

I said it stopped him from going aggressive, which still means that approaching with him isn't gonna be any easier. Sonic is one of those character who relies off of weaving in-and-out with his speed to bait out enemy attacks. Of course he's not built to be the best at approaching, but he's still built to get in the opponent's face.

Tails is NOT better than Sonic. If you look at the character matchup list, https://mcleodgaming.fandom.com/wiki/Character_matchup, Sonic has a 60 out of 100 chance of beating Tails to a pulp. Tails has a 40 out of 100 chance, making him worse against Sonic. And for BandanaDeeMain, Sonic doesn't have just one reliable kill move, F-Air. Sonic also has Homing Attack, B-Air, F-Smash, etc.

This is the matchup spread for VERSION 0.7, so it has no backing on the current patch or meta. And even if it did, you f*** read it wrong. The matchup spread is saying Tails has a 60-40 win ratio against Sonic which is better for Tails.

Oh. My mistake. I didn't know that.

First of all, that chart is not reliable because it's from a patch that's outdated. And thaat matchup that's based off of said patch based off of the previous tierlist that hasn't been updated since 2017. And even if it was relevant, it still says that the matchup is 60-40 in Tail's favor. You're supposed to read matchup charts like multiplication tables.



Because way back when Kirby was a below-than-stellar character, it really wouldn't make any sense to say that Tails had a 5% chance of beating Kirby, especially during the period where Tails was wiping the floor on the entire cast.

How can Homing Attack reliably kill? Same with Bair? Also FSmash is super slow so wayy too easy to avoid.

Many characters attributes are due to handicap (advantage or disadvantage), which explain the points of each character.

Switch Sonic with Sandbag. Put Bandana Dee and Naruto at the bottom of B-. Put Luffy in B+. Put Mega Man, DK, Jiggs, and D. Put Lloyd in A. Put Luigi and Peach in S. Put Chibi in A+. Put Mario in A. Put PAC-MAN at the top of A+. And put Isaac in C.

Nice tier list! It kind of looks similar to mine, except the Sonic placement. Other than that, great job!

Should ya know Sonic has problems since 1.0.3 patch due to poor range attacks.



Sonic is not the worst TBH, has some pretty well attacks, Waddle Dee, Naruto, DK, Jiggs and Mega are well IMO. Lloyd is very controversial due to poor recovery and lag attacks. Peach, Chibi and Luigi are top right now. And Isaac got f****** nerfs with his attacks and Move is weak to recovery.

Sonic sucks, can't approach, while sandbag at least has some decent stuff, DK, Jiggs and Mega Man suck but I don't no them. I was saying put them higher. BDee is pretty decent, same with naruto. Lloyd has an amazing projectile and great combos. Chibi, Luigi and Peach need to be higher.
