I would like to see bass if he is the only other mega man character.

Another one I wouldn't mind seeing is Geno from Super Mario RPG. Why? Because 1). he's a badass, 2). has a particularly unique skill set, 3). a lot of people are requesting him for the actual Smash so why not put him here and 4). we've got an admin who uses it as his handle and tried to make him into an expansion character a while back.

For the Geno fans who don't know, Geno is only in Super Mario RPG (Cameo in MLSS as NPC) because he's a character made by Square Enix. Buuuuuuuuuuuuut since we've got one of SE's most recognized characters, there may be hope for the toy in blue yet.

What, I don't remember Cleod making an expansion of him last I checked that was AEM and Ramsey back on the Expansion forums.

He never got around to it, but he had claims to it. Basically, no one could make a Geno expansion, because he planned to do one

It was Ramsey I was referring to, as I previously said since he uses it as either part of his handle or the entire thing. It's also in SSF2's credits.

If we're going to get anyone else who uses magic (and that is from the Mario universe no less), it should be Rosalina. She's had much more appearances than Geno. I could see the devs giving her a more unique moveset than even SSB4's.

Well, then Geno's gonna be a close second.

Come to think of it...when was the character roster refinalized? 'Cause, if Geno was more popular at that time than Rosalina is now, then he may still have a shot at this.

Then, considering SMG 1 and 2 and MKWii came out before that year, MK7 came out in 2011 (in Japan), and the rest came out after 2012...Rosalina still has a chance, though I guess Geno does as well. It all might depend on the fanbase at that time (if the devs even cared about that).
