you have to ask the person who moderates this topic in order to get a contest approved. and then you give guidlines and stuff for the contest and stuff. at least I think that's how it goes... not 100% sure because there hasn't been a contest in a long time. |

I know the section is kinda dead, but yes you do need approval before hosting a contest. Sure it can be about spriting and stuff, although it may be less likely for it to get approved since it's not particularly original
