A couple forums i've been on have this. To put it basically if I want someone to know or see something I said I could say...
@ThoT you smell. That would send a notification to that user saying "hey dude this guy thinks you smell. [post link]" This could be implemented for quotes instead. I thought it would be nice for people who keep active in lots of sections or in threads where you lose your convo in the pages to all the other posts. It might also help moderators/admins by allowing users to bring something to their attention without shooting them a pm. |
