Marble Hornets itself doesn't particularly scare me... Don't get me wrong, the plot is epic and very fun to follow, but I don't ever feel that scared by it.
Tothearc, on the other hand, makes my skin crawl most of the time

I find it to be the opposite. Tothearc is kind of meh for me, whereas Marble Hornets is hard to watch. Maybe it's because I'm such a sap for these kinds of things.

Personally I think that Alex's encounter with the Operator in the entry before this one took place before 44, and it sent him spiraling back into his old habits. The drawing, the filming, the coughing.
