I would like to have them...
there are some cases in which you need to say something which can spoil a serie, or in which you need to post a really big sprite sheet in which the "spoiler" thing can be pretty usefull... the flash would also be nice. *discuss* |

Somebody already made an idea topic about the spoiler tags. (It kinda got solved): viewtopic.php?f=42&t=657&start=0
For flash tags, since you could make them autostart and they can sometimes use up a lot of room (but the room thing probably won't be a big problem) , we might not want them, and instead a link would be better. (I know that having the ability to put in flash tags is as simple as clicking a few buttons in the admin cp, so if there was a rule, per se, no auto starting flash sigs or something, I'd be fine with it.) Regarding Spoiler tags: Well, I was thinking of other version of "Spoiler tags". Not the ones that makes the text UNREADABLE, but about the ones which HIDES both text and images. (images are not dowloaded until you press the button "unhide spoiler") I know it can't be done right now (cleod is bussy), but I'm just giving an idea for the future. Regarding Flash tags: Well... they could be coded in some way in which you'd have to click them to allow the downloading... If the SPOILER tag is created, then it can be done that all the flash things are created inside a Spoiler tag (You'd have to click "unhide spoiler" to start the downloading of it)... |

Options: BBCode is ON [img] is ON [flash] is OFF [url] is ON Smilies are ON Right under the smileys. |

Either way, spoliler tags are very good...
not only to post spoiler, but also to post things which may freeze a computer, such as a very big and heavy image, or a flash movie... I've seen people in other forums using the spoiler tags to post really big sprite sheets (like neox's), and I think it's an awesome sistem.  |
