My main reason for not wanting him in is because I don't personally know how they could both balance the fact that he can fly and acknowledge the fact that it's his main source of movement.

My problem with Ridley is that he wouldn't bring anything new to the table if Charizard and Dedede both return. I'd like to see more fast hard-hitters like Falcon and Falco.

OK, I'm about to put the "Ridley is too big" argument to bed once and for all. Listen to this:
Yes, Ridley is big, but saying that he's too big is utter s***. Ridley is barely 2.5x the size of Samus, which, depending on if her height is 5'5" or 6'3", is anywhere from 11'4" to 18'6", That's barely bigger than that of Bowser, who's most commonly 3.5x the size of Mario, who is 5'1", which makes him around 15'5". And King K. Rool is 3.5x the size of Donkey Kong, who's already 8'2", making him around 27'3". And Olimar is an inch and a half tall. Shows how much the haters know...which is nothing.

His size is not set in the Smash Bros universe, he can't even stay the same size between cutscenes. Not to mention in the cutscene, he was designed to be bigger than that of his initial Super Metroid design. And no, we don't use it because he can't even stay the same size between the normal Ridley and Meta Ridley battles. _________________
