Actually it wasn't like that until Dragon Ball Z came. Dragon Ball is actual Martial Arts, the only beam you really see is the Kamehameha, and Goku doesn't learn that until a while in. _________________ Mains:  Secondaries:      |

Dragon Ball only had 3 world tournament arcs, out of like 12. (Pilaf, Red Ribbon Army and King Piccolo arcs take up the majority of the series) _________________  |
