Ugh you really are going to get me started Bowser, first of all, only reaches those sort of colossal sizes after magic maybe besides Mario 64. In games like Super Mario Galaxy his height isn't very tall at all. Secondly, in SMASH CANON, he is the size he is. Whether anybody likes it or not, Ridley's size was already canonized in the Smash Bros. universe thanks to SSE. So it would be VERY, VERY unlike Sakurai to change it after it's been established i.e shrink him down and make him playable. He's very big on those kind of consistencies, and that's apart of what make the games he directs so great.

Bowser wasnt that big in Mario 64 though, unless im misreading that part. Yeah, his size generally is affected by magic, his standard size is usually around the same size as the 64 incarnation.
Anyways, I'd like to see Marx (Soul?), Galacta Knight, or Magalor (Soul?) as a boss in Story Mode. Only one of them though.
