Yeah, his line art is a little iffy and the shading could use work. Did you use a reference? What series/game/media is he from??

Ah, I searched him up and found a lot of Metal Gear Solid related pictures. The thing that bugs me the most about the sprite is that the spikes around his neck(Some sort of collar?) are ill positioned and his right hind leg looks extremely too skinny to me.

Been working on a Culex Trophy (Super Mario RPG):

Of course it's in an extremely early stage, so naturally, I haven't added the Head and effects.
Btw, I think I should try Photoshop to make his hair effect.
Any criticisms?
Also, I will repost my Master Belch and Diamond Dog (Earthbound) unfinished Trophies here, because I haven't got much feedback yet:

You should play it, it's a pretty fun game andd it's definitely superior to the Paper Mario series and is as good as the Mario & Luigi games.
I also forgot to say that Culex has rough lineart, this means that I still have to clean up his lines.

It's a bit weird anatomically (chest and aforementioned nipple placement), but so far it's pretty good compared to your older stuff!
