Raiga is not Canon. He's filler only. By that standard, there are still 4-5 (If Chojuro isn't one, which I highly doubt.) of the Kirigakure Nana/Shichimurasame. (If that's the correct Japanese)

Because Pein sounds cooler... Having a name like "Pain" is generic, it speaks for itself and bleh. Pein however has more of this effect.... Kakashi- So uh.... Why are you called Pein again? Pein- It coinincidently is pronounced just like "Pain," but having the name Pain is crappy and generic, so I vouged for a homophone. Kakashi- OH! I get it now, so it's like *Stabbed in the gut with a chakra blade* It's personal prefference
