Guy with horns seems to be Volvagia. He's basically wearing an upgraded model of the OoT Volvagia, plus he may or may not be turning his arm into a claw in one of the screens.

All things being what they are, I'd be really surprised if Zelda herself wasn't playable in some fashion. Maybe not in story, but at least as a clear bonus or something. Speaking of the princess, have we seen her yet? I don't think I have and it seems unusual that they'd reveal Impa and the villainess before her.

Judging by the deluxe set description, the game will probably have some DLC costumes, and hopefully some unlockable ones too. Curious about where that will go.

For people that have played this franchise: What can we expect in terms of characters and gameplay points?

One of the most common complaints for the DW series is that it's press X to win. I played a bunch of 4 and a bit of 6, and they're more or less the same game. It's fun, and Zelda definitely helps, but it's not an outstanding display of gameplay in any sense of the word.

And for a frame of reference, the villains are usually playable.

you don't press X though, you press Square (or presumably Y on the Wii U)

Zelda U looks fantastic and has a solid plan behind it, but I didn't ever think I'd see an itital teaser without the green tunic... It somehow seems a it off.
