They already did.

Btw, server is available now, running in pure vanilla, but it'll do until the full game (finally) is released.

83.101.71.21

is it running 1.8 or the latest 1.9 prerelease?

1.8.1, not gonna bother with prereleases, don't have the time to keep up with that s***.

On the server right now. Was a bit laggy at first but seems to be running just fine. Set up a teamspeak/vent server with this if you can.

Done, both teamspeak/ventrilo servers have been set up, dunno what the preference is for you guys, so went ahead and made both.

Hakker!
The server is biting the shed!
I'm running 60fps+ but the server doesn't seem to register anything I'm doing...

I'm really not sure what could be causing the issues, but it's definitely serverside since everyone has similar issues. The server has plenty of RAM and processing power available, and the up/download isn't maxed either. No idea what the cause is...

It is a bit odd, is the server run on the max amount of ram possible?
I know the default server doesn't automatically run at full capacity and that their is a command line out their that runs it higher... this is what I'm using for my server.

java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.exe

Of course their are adjustments that can be/should be made but that's what I've found browsing, if your having trouble with the paths (which you most likely wont) then just use the directory that javaw is in.

Understandable.

The only good prerelease right now is the 5th one. the 6th is sooooo buggy :O

Also it's raining and rain seems to go through wooden blocks or something since when I'm inside that house it rains

You know, that might actually be it... I was wondering why the server refused to use more RAM than the 200 megabytes or whatever it was... Where do I alter this, exactly? Checked the server properties file, but that doesn't hold anything like that.

Yeah, weird bugs like that are rampant too, it was raining in the cave me and Jinseng were exploring, too. Even though we weren't even near the surface.

You actually run it as a batch file =p
just open notepad and copy the line of code in, when you go to save it make sure its saved as MinecraftServer.bat and its as ANY file type. The name doesn't matter but extension and file type do, then simply place it in the server folder and run it. If your using a .jar for the server just change the extension BTW.
