That's only if you're caught with some kind of nearly-uncurable disease. Most effects of aging can actually be helped by science.

I just don't want to die. When you die, it's just black, blank... nothing. Gone forever, never to think, feel, or anything ever again. Sure, no more pain, but you usually gotta go through pain to die, and there is a lot more to life than pain.

No matter how you look at it there will always be different perspectives on how we came to initially be. I say this after having just arrived home from a philosophy class even, delving into this very subject. So there is a certain irony in seeing this thread as it is right now.

There are many different viewpoints and arguments attributed for and against the existence of god/ theories on the creation of the universe entirely. There are theories that there exists millions of alternate universes and we simply 'got lucky'. Frankly, it still is much more a situation based around philosophy (that is, different interpretations and ideas without any solid answer) than one of any strict adherence to a particular "truth". It's actually pretty much pointless to discuss the matter, especially being this is far from what this thread is supposed to be about..

I won't go into my own beliefs but i do believe this thread has steered off its initial content. Please turn back to the point of the actual article. =/.. this is turning into spam, and a useless topic.
