I'm still aiming to get HM in my country's power ranking (Wales). Gonna take a while, especially because Afro Smash sometimes comes to our monthlies.

Huge bump for the sake of the thread. I was notified on Facebook the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U tag appears on the Nintendo Direct YouTube Gaming link to be streamed this wednesday. Indeed, I can see the tag is there, could this mean a port is finally becoming a reality? or is it just an oversight? Could this be a Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch? (a.k.a. the true "Smash 6")

I mean it's gonna happen sooner or later, there's been a Smash game for every Nintendo home console since the N64

I just hope it's a straight up Smash 5 rather than just a port

I mean, I'd be happy with a Switch port - especially if it added a bit of extra content, some new characters or the better 3DS stages - but I'm always ready to keep moving

Seriously though, Ultimate pretty much seems to outclass this game completely in terms of quality. And all the same characters are in too, so I believe SSB4 is pretty much gonna become obsolete unless the switch never ends up decreasing it's prices in the slightest. And even then people will save up for it.
