Only ascetic Hindus (saddhus) reject property completely, though I don't think they claim not having any right to it (that sounds more like Proudhon if you ask me).

Buddhism on the other hand advocated detachment, not asceticism. I think the Buddha was said to have been a leader of a group of Brahman ascetics, who became disenchanted with him when he revoked asceticism (and later on became his followers).
