Not ALL the clones; Lucas was added to represent the newest game, and Ganondorf was the villain. What DOESN'T excuse Ganondorf is his s*** moveset.

Ganondorf doesn't have a s*** moveset. It might not be the one you want but it's the one we got and it's great.

Unfortunately, some people believe that sharing some moves (even if they have completely different functions) makes a character a clone.


I also like Ganon's moveset. I always had fun playing with him.

Not in the sense of them playing exactly the same; just that some of their moves are clearly just slightly altered versions, like PK Thunder, Ness' Bat, and PSI Magnet. Pichu, on the other hand, is just a weaker Pikachu.


It's s*** IMO because it seems way to similar to Falcons.

You know who would be awesome to see in Smash? A humanoid Andross.

Think about it, he could fight with psychic powers/shocks and electric swords and his final smash would turn him into the giant head.

Smash Bros. is lacking evil Nintendo baddies. Ganondorf is all they have. Andross and Ridley would fit that bill really nicely. And I'd choose him over Krystal any day of the week.

People consider Ganondorf's moveset s*** because he's a unique character with tons of potential for an original moveset yet the developers of Smash had him use Captain Falcon's moveset. Luigi being a clone is understandable since they're the Mario Brothers but with Ganondorf, everyone expected to see actual creativity put into his moveset.
