It's probably entirely digital and likely works with Amiibo in some way (seems a bit odd that they don't have CN codes right now)

Also they said they were gonna add "dozens" of digital games and some physical stuff too to clear your coins out with so that's exciting

They also said the Platinum reward was another game download and that's gonna be available April 1st

Frankly I'm not bothered by it ending since it's been getting slowly worse for fairly obvious reasons and the blowout sounds really exciting

That devolved into pins, cards, a soundtrack and finally a digital download. This happened for the same reason that Europe and Japan get better rewards: US just has more people using the service, so the rewards have to be cheaper to cover the costs of giving them out for free. That's why I think the new service will be all digital, it'll cost them effectively nothing to maintain and all regions can have the same catalog with no concerns

Secondly regardless of recent efforts it's always been easy to just steal CN codes from Gamestop boxes. It's one reason I've really hated their ""new" (but we opened it and stuck it on the shelf already)" policy, you have to assume the code's been stolen by default. I suspect the new service will just tie to your account directly, bypassing the need for codes altogether

Final Club Nintendo rewards are up now. Got me the second Smash poster set, because Shulk's poster is my favorite one (even though Duck Hunt's is awful)

I'm not interested in the other rewards, but in case you are, there's a Fierce Deity puzzle, classic Zelda 3ds case, Majora bag, and the game case, among other things.

Lots of games. Kid Icarus Uprising is 700, and I wholeheartedly recommend getting that if you haven't played it. The Wonderful 101 at 600 and Yoshi's Island (if you somehow still haven't played it) at 200 are great too.

I wasn't interested in any of the physical rewards. I went ahead and got The Wonderful 101, since i've been wanting that. (Although now I have to use an external hard drive, but w.e). Also got Golden Sun since I never beat it and it's a fantastic game, and settled with Mario and Donkey Kong Mini's on the Move to completely get rid of my coins, also a great game.

I haven't been able to get anything, because the Club Nintendo website has been down for me all day.

It is for everyone. It's not just slow right now, it's offline

Their servers always get annihilated every time something happens so we'll just have to wait

Last time I checked, I have like 500 coins, plus four or five post-purchase surveys to take. I don't know if I'll be able to make platinum, but gold members also get the free game download, so that's no problem.

Only question is, what should I get with my coins? Should I get two or three small eShop titles, or see if I can buy a couple more games and save up for 3D Land?

I'm still trying to decide what I should with my club coins, hopefully you guys could suggest something.

I have 560 coins, a 3DS only, and I already have Sakura Samurai, Harmoknight, Dillon's Rolling Western, and Kid Icarus Uprising. If you suggest I get one of the higher cost games, like 3D Land or Star Fox, I'd like to know how I should get the extra coins.
