You can use side b to stall. Helps his recovery a little bit.
Also his nair is one of his best moves for sure. No landing lag, little startup, decent killing power.
His bair is also an AMAZING kill move.

Gonna bump this topic with some other things I remember.

Uair is really strong and has a huge hitbox but it has a LOT of startup.
Dair is multi-hit and has a spike/meteor hitbox at the tip of his shoe.
His jab has really low knockback, and it's kinda slow for a jab, as well as being single hit, but I think its low KB lets it set up for a lot of stuff. I'll have to test this on release.
Fsmash is really strong and has decent frame data from what I've gathered.
I did not use his tilts much at all except for utilt, which was a good anti-air
Downb has some interesting setups, and I really liked using it, but it didn't kill until 130 or something
The up-variation of sideb is REALLY GOOD. Like, it might be one of his best moves. I couldn't find much use of the backwards variation of sideb.
The down-variation of sideb has a really soft meteor affect on it. It gets stuck really often on BF, Smashville, and Dreamland platforms though. Kinda annoying, but now that I think about it, you can probably use that version to tech-chase people on those platforms.

His upb is so goddamn hard to sweetspot LOL

dtilt is a lingering hitbox on the spiky vine, its basically a trap because it looks punishable but sends at a perfect angle with a lot of hitstun to start a fair combo (which i noticed is terribly hard on controller ;____; )
in the air, move ends fast enough where you can do sideb downwards, then when it lands make it do another groundpound or make it do the up-scoop.

i dont think his down special is very good i mean the only time u could use it is after vine or on final destination for unsuspecting noobs and because he needs to release the move to be able to function which i find i wont be using the move alot you should change it to a sort of mine like solid sanke in brawl also i really dont like the new fd design i thought it was just the omega version of wily castle and some stages would get an fd version like ssb4 is it or did you really change it to that monstrocity? . lloyd sword swings look really bad i dont see why u didnt keep the old ones they fit with the sprite if you were gonna change the sprites for sword swings you should have changed his character sprite also his beast side smash looks so bad it lloks something out of ssf2 2a geez but then again im just 1 guy u dont have to listen to me it probably took u guys a while to make that really crappy fd and the sword sprites for lloyd so you now whatever. my point is i think it would be better if u changed isaacs down special to a solid snake type of move. also plz change soras neutral back so that we can cancel it.

An inquiry to the devs, is Isaac's Dspec programmed as a projectile? If not then the aerial version could be a little broken.
"When you're in a juggle and you can't get out, Dspec! Its a get out of juggle free move :D"
If it were coded as a projectile, it could be powershielded similar to Samus' Dspec-IE; it goes through the normal animation but has reverted to the possession of the PowerShieldee.
Aerial Dspec should be more of a mixup if you're being juggled, and definitely not a way to make it difficult if not impossible to juggle Isaac.
But what do we know. Isaac is not available yet :P

after using isaac in the apex build at smashcon, i found some fun stuff but overall he's not really a fantastic character.
obviously i'm playing a somewhat outdated build so a lot of things could change and i didn't have very much time to test this but

utilt comes out slow. when he uses it it stays in place even if he's hit but it's still not that good
ftilt might as well just not exist when you have the nspec vine. it's decent for a poke game but that's about it, it comes out slow. not as slow as the nspec vine but far less rewarding
i haven't been able to use dtilt almost at all since i couldn't land it but tson said it's not really easy to do on a controller and it's apparently good so i'll take his word for it

nair is fun. i don't really know what move it reminds me of functionally. kinda like ROB's SSB4 nair i guess?
i like fair too, hits decently. not super good though, but it's still fun.
bair is like a poor man fox bair
dair is like a poor man fox dair
up air feels like zelda's except slightly slower

fsmash and usmash come out really really slow and they're only really useful at the vine in my experiences. i rarely used dsmash.

dspec was okay for surprises, but is awkward to follow up from.
uspec is a pretty vulnerable recovery but it gets the job done. feels kind of awkward though
sspec is nearly useless because of its slow speed and its pretty weak hits but i didn't use it much
nspec is great for reading rolls or other small slip-ups. the higher the %, the more time you get to attack. one attack breaks them out. at higher %s it's fun to fully charge your smashes for maximum salt. it's how i got most of my kills. this move made a lot of people cry for isaac nerfs

i didn't really use any throws other than dthrow because it chaingrabs but it doesn't do too much damage. still fun to use though and also made a lot of people cry for isaac nerfs
