Which desktop CPU would be good for running smoothly and staying cool at the same time ? I play alot of Command & Conquer (and such) games, and i want to build a new desktop PC, and i just want to know which CPU would be better for staying cool, and for running smooth?

This shouldn't have been posted in this section so if Nac doesn't mind I am going to move it to the General Electronics section where your more likely to get a better result.

Cooling is generally independent of CPU. You need to find your own fan. For CPUs, I recommend a Quad Core if you're in to gaming, 64 bit if you have 4 gigs of RAM. If you have deep pockets, got for the new i7.

Hello barbarax.

In market there are so many range of CPUs available today. Processors from AMD and intel come in different shapes and sizes.
All CPU's are divided into four broad categories :
- Obsolete Processors
- Budget Processors
- Mid-Range Processors
- High-End Processors
If you are more into gaming or do CPU intensive work like video editing, go for a mid-range or high-end processor.

Nice answer, except you're four months late.
