Limited testing incoming.
So, any throw to up air as kill combo is absolutely negated by DI. Foward air to kill is still possible, but pretty strict timing is necessary.
So, back throw > any version of ding dong. Sadly.

Dthrow -> fair or dthrow -> uair is very viable. It doesn't kill earlier than bthrow all the time, but it works. The exception is space animals that DI down and out, but you can either bthrow them to kill super early with that DI or just uthrow instead.

you can lowkey chain grab spacies w down throw AND cargo uthrow with the right di reads, or fast enough reactions :)

what combos should i start mastering? at the moment im perfecting down-b into up-smash, but that really only works if you side-b first...

Speaking of Side-B, try Headbutt + Giant Punch. (You'll have to max out Giant Punch first, then do Side-B, and then do Neutral-B.)

I FOUND ANOTHER PERSON

TBH I want him to have a different up special all together (a cannon barrel) but anything to fix his garbage vertical recovery is good
