I agree. There are several things that could be exclusive before a whole story. Although I don't agree with making stages exclusive, I do agree with certain assist trophies being exclusive.

If Sakurai's smart (which he is) he'll make exclusive content on each side that is transferable to each other. That's how you get people to buy both products.

Blaze from Sonic the Hedgehog, imo she's the best female character, and she's not a hedgehog lol. Plus she has fire, and is acrobatic. So im sure she could have an interesting moveset that is in no way similar to Sonic (or anyone else for that matter)

I second this. I do love the idea of Blaze in SSB4, but she seems almost guaranteed to not be a playable character, despite amazing moveset possibilities, due to not really being a main character and such stupid reasons like that.
