malware blocked when i browse the site

not sure if false alarm or if you even can solve it but it's annoying as f***

Maybe you should get your computer checked out. Sometimes programs can get infected and go haywire.

I also have an avast problem lately.

"MALICIOUS URL DETECTED" comes on every time I log on.

I'm not especially worried about a virus, but it is indeed annoying as f***.

Just recently updated it, there is no reason why it would be infected unless avast was compromised by a third party, which is highly unlikely.

On that train of thought, it might have something to do with the update, but that's coming to conclusions way too early.

Upon uninstalling and then re-installing my avast, the warnings seem to have gone away.

Try doing that, Whim.

I think a recent definition update fixed it, because I'm not getting it anymore.
