Tekun's jaw dropped for a moment and he took a step back.

"A mage?" Tekun retorted. "Your kidding me. you have no magical experience at all. To switch would be far to reckless." He said and turned his head. "You needn't do this all, with assassin's, if there's only one, they won't persist. one shot means one shot. He won't be back."

Eton left the area in a hope to find Serene and straighten this mess out. As he ran out to the front he saw in the distance a black pegasus, not to far. She had left. He looked at Windy and petted her. "I know we don't get along, but, please understand and cooperate. I need to persue her. If not for my sake for Tania's sake." He whispered into it's ear and attempted to mount the pegasus.


"Of course." He said turning around, feeling the strain on his arm's. Alice stood there in complete utter shock, confused by what just happened, she was dead just a few seconds ago, but now. What had that old man done. It just seemed impossible. Julius began making his way back to the campfire, walking past J and Alice.

"This may...take more time then I thought J." He muttered.

Charisma noticed the wound on Julius' shoulder, curious as to what caused it, she decided to ask. "What...happened to your arm?" She tilted her head to get a better look, it was bloody and bandaged up. Could it have been the same entity that had killed her? "Did you fall? Or... Where you attacked, too?"

Julius approached the fire, he barely had any strength left to move, let alone keep carrying her. He let out a heavy sigh. "Attacked." He said simply. "We drove off the creature, but not before it left it's mark." He decided not to speak of the poison or how humiliated and worthless he felt. He knelt down the best he could and put Charisma down and sat besides her.

Attacked? There wasn't a doubt in her mind that it was the same thing that had killed her. "I see.." she wasn't sure if Julius knew how she died yet, or if he did just find her body. "So, Julius... Do you know what that thing was? That thing that attacked you..." She wanted to try and get more information on whatever it was, in case she had to face another in the future. Whether it be in the near future, while more hide in the shadows, or much more distant.

"No idea. It looked like a lizard of some sort. Little taller then my height." He said, he couldn't avoid the question any longer. He'd have to say otherwise he be lying. "It was......eating you." He said reluctently. "I stood there in utter shock, too horrified to do anything, alice heard me yell upon seeing this and managed to snap me out of my state enough to retaliate. When I attacked, it bit down pretty hard, I think it poisoned me. Alice retaliated and managed to blind the creature." He stopped and looked down at the ground in shame.

"I felt pathetic. Nearly dying in trying to avenge you. Couldn't even do it on my own." He sighed.

"Don't feel like that." Charisma said, comforting him. "It wasn't your fault. They got me too, they were strong." Although Charisma did manage to kill the first one herself, she didn't want to make Julius feel any worse than he already did. "It could have happened to any one. Especially someone who didn't know them at all, and fighting out of anger. Your judgment was easily blinded."

Julius closed his eyes.

"I was reckless, I won't ever allow that to happen again, to you or to me." Julius said. "When I saw you....I thought I lost a part of myself. I hadn't felt that bad in a long time."

He had nothing more to say, the topic bothered him alot, it was clear to Julius he had failed.

Rana stood silently behind Tania, making sense of what had happened. And now she was asking Tekun about magic? Rana reached out to place his hand on her shoulder and say something, but his hand stopped, twitched and fell to his side. "Tania... What do you mean?" He asked.


Gabriel peered out the window in disbelief. The girl was alive! He creeped away, outside of the bar and into the entrance to the inn. He slipped out, peeking around corners to make sure nobody but he and Lucifer were present. "How could she be back?" He whispered.
"She had evil magic, remember? She killed the dragon like it was nothing... With those shadows..." Lucifer whispered back.
Gabriel nodded and got onto his knees, sticking his head around the side of the building. There was Tania. His attention turned to the bird, which was being mounted by the annoying thief. He started, then ran forward, forgetting about the mean girl. "Hey! Hey, that's mine!"


The demon sighed, powerfully and slowly. He reached out his hand to feel the bark of an ancient tree. His flesh sizzled against the wood, which was grey when he pulled away. What a strange world, he considered. Just then, very close by, he heard the crackling of leaves. His gargantuan body twisted and his arm crashed suddenly into a small tree, which was felled by the blow. There, barely far from the creature at all, was the assassin. The bizarre music hissed out of his body and he reached forward, grasping the tired and bemused killer in his massive fist. His beak-like, body face came closer. The human's skin turned red, then shriveled at the void demon's touch. It was so refreshing...
The demon opened his hand, watching curiously as the assassin tumbled to the ground. The man was gasping for air; his ribs were broken, and half of his skin was bleeding and quite literally falling and crumbling away from his body, grey and dry. His eyes bulged, then closed, and his body convulsed several times before calming down. A great claw ran over the body's cheek, leaving a trail of smoldering, entirely dead flesh.

Charisma felt it best if she were to change the subject. However, she was at a loss and wasn't sure of what to say. "So, Julius, what are the plans for the day?" She asked him. That was the only thing she could think of so suddenly to change the subject to. She already had an idea of what they were doing. "Oh, and when are we going to leave?" She added that to stray the topic off even further.

Serene held onto Black King's reigns tightly with one hand. She pulled something out of the saddlebag with the other as he sped through the sky. In her hand was a helm of a Falcon Knight, her mother's. She pulled Black King down into a dive, getting closer to the ground. "Listen closely, Black King, I've been wasting time..." she began tell him, pulling the helm over her head.

Black king looked ahead and saw a large body of water. "We're....going to swim?!" He thought to himself, pulling up. "Serene you suicidal b****! I'm not going to die here! If you want to, then go ahead!" He brought himself into a continuous barrel roll, trying to throw her off before she submerged both of them in an icy grave.

J stood up, and grabbed Julius by the shirt. He was beginning to get pissed off badly. "LISTEN HERE KID!" He shouted to his face. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH WITH YOUR STALLING. EITHER YOU GET READY NOW, OR I'M LEAVING WITHOUT YOU!" He dropped Julius and grasped his mallet, turning to go off in the direction of the next town.

Julius fell to the ground and grabbed his shoulder and got up, though weakened, he'd have to do.

"That answer's your question." Julius said. "Charisma, need help moving about?" He asked her, getting up and limping slightly, he grabbed his sword and what supplies he had. He wanted to lose this arrogent bastard, but, it ensured a safe trip to the village.

"umm... No, I should be alright." Charisma told Julius. "Let's just hurry up and go." Charisma wasn't worried about J, she was more concerned that there may be more of those evil creatures around that could harm her or Julius again. "After all, there may be more of those things around." Charisma decided to speak her mind, as she looked down at the ground. Her eyes continued to wander as she brought her head up, looking over to Julius, then to J.
