The FIRST PICTURE THERE was talking about no flashy seizure inducing animations. You broke your own rule in EVERY OTHER POST.

Similarly, don't post a large number of animated Gifs on the same page, it induces lag.

My computer is pretty high power. I didn't get any lag at all, but I have known people in the past with weaker computers who have gotten screwed over by too many animated GIFs.

I was using your terminology by saying "flashy". It's choppy and has no sense of timing at all.

So, unsuspecting man sees thread, and clicks only to have to sit through 10 minutes of lag before their browser chokes up its config file and dies on them.

Just saying, at least put a warning. That or don't have them all on the same page. Long load time too (I've got a fast connection, but the imageshack/photobucket/tinypic server isn't as fast as I am).

I have a little program I installed that tracks upload and download rates. This stuff is hardly a blip out of my total capacity.
