Well he has. Along with a great cast of SEGA characters and upcoming DLC for the game, sonic will finally be able to have a decent racing game unlike the cheap sonic R and sonic rivals series (sonic riders was ok but its sequel sucked)

No, not easy as in you won without much effort. It just seems like a simple game, drift some corners, fire some items, win. But meh, maybe thats just how I see racing games.

Not really. In some racing games, there are unique features. Gran turismo had a huge variety of cars and tracks in the game Mario kart introduced the powerups in racing games Burnout had the ability to crash anything in sight Need for speed had a variety of courses Midnight club introduced free roaming in racing games And yeah you get the point Sonic all stars racing has a huge roster of SEGA characters with some never introduced in a long time to future SEGA games (Ryo,Banzana Brothers,Billy hatcher,etc.). In addition, the wii version allows racers to play with their mii. The 360 version has the exclusive banjo-kazooie character and the ability to play with the avatars. On top of that, each character also have their special moves but i think the 360 version is worth buying. Also, the game will include DLC characters (yes. Toejam and earl is rumored to be one) for the PS3 and 360.

Toejam and Earl would make that game worth buying, as well as the Bonanza Brothers. But not enough; they'd have to sweeten the deal with some other fan faves. Say, Ristar and Dynamite Headdy? And Kid Chameleon, and Vectorman? And Bayonetta?

Bayonetta will not make it in the game due to the fact she was released this year. Vectorman and Ristar was confirmed from sega that they may not be in the game. But dynamite headdy and kid chameleon? I never thought of that

Man, I just got Sonic and The Black Knight a while back (I think it was like a month, I haven't been here in a while). Such a disappointment...
Oh well, I still have Sonic Unleashed, and I'm still looking forward to Sonic 4.

Wasn't this topic a little old? (I was quite scared to risk reviving it myself). Regardless yeah I'm hoping the whole "Episodes" thing with Sonic 4 somehow works out. Though I'm thinking they're going to handle it by having basically a bunch of episodes that play the same but essentially it's more like Sonic 4, 5, 6 etc. just without any graphical and such types of improvements.

Episodes?? So we will have to spend 10's of dollars on downloading different episodes that make up 1 game instead of just 1 game?

I don't really get it either. I just made a little prediction.

Ewhewhewhewhewhewhewhewhewhewhewhewhewhewhewhewhewhew... We'll see about that. Sonic Unleash was apparently exelantay, but ruined by the werehog. It looks like SEGA is doing the same thing, only - the slow werehog and + something that doesn't seem to be knocking down Sonic's speed... (Emphasis on the italics.) "There she stood in the doorway; I heard the mission bell And I was thinking to myself, this could be heaven or this could be hell "

Or because I've read umteen reviews on it and have been told that Werehog is too slow. See, I've never played the game. But when about 10 reviewers complain about one thing there has got to be something wrong with it. The only thing that I have against the Werehog is that it slowed down the action and was too frequent, it could have been epic if it wasn't a Sonic game. I haven't played the game myself, admittedly, but considering I have heard everybody, 'cept you, complain about it, you have to understand that I do feel a bit discouraged from doing so since the fear that it shall be a waste of my hard earned waitroning wage grows every time somebody complains.
