i really hate when i constantly feel like im the big joke of my friends group and that no one there likes me and keeps me around as a part of some big inside joke they have

i'm pretty sure its not the case now but its happened before and now i cant help but be cautious

solution: Get better friends

1.) If your friends have done that before they're c*** to begin with.

2.) no one should feel insecure around friends, otherwise you obviously dont consider them friends

everyone in this group im in is really sweet and most of them are girls so i dont really think that what im thinking is true at all?
but its one of those feelings i get suddenly and it makes me feel like s*** and i act like a dick towards them even though they didnt do anything, so im the one in the wrong here and i hate myself for it

see, i pretty much did the same with my friends in high school, so i was kind of an a****** to them, but i mixed it in with humor so they still kept me around. i used it to prevent myself from getting hurt by making it seem like i didn't care TOO much (kinda like saying you can't hurt me emotionally), and it seems you're using it the same way

basically what you need to do is let your guard down just a bit. try to be humorous if you're gonna say something rude, in order to lighten the mood, so you don't actually come off as a real a******
