at low-mid% you can Dthrow and followup with a GraveBlade for a near guaranteed hit.

None of them, actually.

They realize Grave Blade is an utterly trash move in comparison to guarantee followups like dash attack to grab > down throw tech chase galore.

The last guy I played, I was s*** on him (or her) and for s*** and giggles. I purposely let myself slip far enough to get down to one stock (he/she played Sheik prior to this, and was able to get me down to one stock despite me f*** around). Anyways, he got f*** in the a** via Sonic Thrust thinking he could bait me into a Sonic Thrust when all I did was maneuver away from it.

Completely unrelated to the character, but I played Sora against his/her Peach and broke his/her shield. He floated offstage and ragequit, making that a three stock.

Also, getting three stocked by Soldier Sunday is like Macklemore's Thrift Shop MV. They both look like clowns.

I use a little bit of Grave Blade, mostly when i'm 100% sure i can land it safely. I dunno, i just like the move but maybe i should stop using it.

Also, after almost 100 matches, should i feel bad that i just now learned about the Tiger Blade+Rising Falcon thing? I feel so zetta slow (Yes it was needed.) realizing about that just a couple of days ago, and Lloyd is my second favorite character.

It took me ~3 years after I first played Smash to realize that you could angle some fsmashes and ftilts in the canon games. Some things just slip you by.

pt took me 3 years to figure out that C-stick is actually insanely usefull. also took me 3 years to realize that clone mines can be used for rasenshuriken combos. and also that it is more effective to use lots of bombs spread all over the stage for permanent punishes with BM than to just pile up P bombs in one place and go for a setup.

Similar to the Sora thread, let's try this with Lloyd.

Try naming one thing you like about Lloyd, and one thing you don't like about him.

I like his aerial range, they give him really good spacing options.

I don't like his recovery, Up-B to D-air as many times is you want is hard to punish, especially with the large D-air hitbox.

I like how his moveset is well-tailored to him. It seems like every move has a purpose and that they work together well.
I'm not a huge fan of his recovery, because I think it removes part of the glass-cannon aspect from him. SSF2 doesn't have many glass cannons, so I think turning Lloyd into more of a generic swordsman loses some of the character diversity.
