Hello guys, long time since I was last here.

I'm remaking my Visual Basic game into Java (Using BlueJ 3.0.0) and I need some help. I want my applet to start center screen, and have the keys to press already ready for pressing. In other words, I don't want the user to be clicking the screen every dang time they play to move the character.

Hooray for 9 days late reply.

Are you using the .requestFocus() and .setVisible() functions?

Wow someone replied. Mega bump.

No I have not tried that. Also I have a timer class to count the time down and when I have the player "die" I call applet.begin() and the timer goes quicker. The pause() is 100. It goes down by 0.1 each 100ms. Dunno why this happens.
