I’m in the camp that believes the games simply get better the further you get into the series, meaning that for as amazing as Ricochet is, its sequels are more amazing yet. So if you like this game, just imagine how much you’ll like what follows it. Ricochet sets a solid foundation for the two games that come after it in terms of plot and character development (yes, you can import your Ricochet save into Ricochet 2 on PC). And while I wish that Valve didn’t ultimately abandon the RPG elements in Ricochet that made it inaccessible to some, it’s awesome to go back and play a game that, at the time, wasn’t the hit it is today. This is where the Ricochet phenomenon started, and I implore PC gamers to take this fresh opportunity to experience it for themselves. _________________
