It honestly breaks my heart that Sakurai would even think about doing this. Even if it IS for the sake of balancing, there's really not much of an excuse there considering that he's not doing it alone this time.

Well, Other M happened, and Nightmare got an absolute CRAPLOAD of new attacks. Laser beams, black holes, and even actually USING those friggin metal arms to try and crush you. I actually came up with a move set a while back, lemme see if I can go dig it up...

I like the idea of him as a stage hazard, though. Dang, now I'm torn... Boss or hazard... Boss or hazard... DARN YOU TERMINX xD

Boss for sure, cameo hazards suck usually.

My ideal new characters roster.

1. Shulk
Goddamn, Xenoblade was awesome. And it's first party and relatively new, too! Shulk's various arts and techniques as well as the diversity of the Monado (his main weapon) make him an excellent choice that will gain Nintendo my unrivaled love if he was included.

2. Megaman
Capcom has already confirmed that they are being represented by their own third-party representative in the next smash, and that character will have a long history with Nintendo. Quite honestly, I don't care if it's Rock or X, as long as it's actually one of those two and not Zero (Zero's awesome, but the series isn't called The Adventures of Model Zero, it's called Megaman) or Ryu. If we're ever getting Ryu, he's coming after Rock gets in. Don't screw this one up too,
C(r)apcom.

3. Ghirahim
He's new, he's fabulous and he's an amazing villain with excellent moveset capabilities. He's to Zelda as Kefka is to Final Fantasy! Just put him in, dammit.

4. Black Shadow
Give him Ganondorf's moveset and give Ganny a new one. This makes more sense.

5. Magnus
Yeah, he was only touched on briefly (quite unfortuneately), but enough of his character seems hidden away to hint at him being major in an up-and-coming sequel. His weapon in Uprising also provides enough moves to NOT make him an Ike clone.

6. Dark Pit
Dark Pit could have his moveset based more on Uprising's weapons while Pit gets a revised version of his Brawl moveset with a different Sspec and Final Smash.

7. Hades
Yeah, that's THREE new Kid Icarus IPs in one game. Screw your criticism, Uprising was an amazing game and arguably the best one the 3DS IMO.
Anyway, if Black Shadow can't be put in, give him Ganondorf's moveset. If he can, they can give him one based loosely on his many attacks from the final battle.
His final smash could either be his giant form or his Final Attack from the final battle as well. Besides, don't you WANT to hear his amazingly vague homoerotic remarks that make him look like a (good) Joker on steroids?

Those are the seven that I think NEED to be in. Dark Pit is questionable. I could care less about the potential Namco character, sue my a**.

Only magnus makes sense put of those three, and I don't know what you think IP stands for.

If anything Dark Pit should be a secret boss or a event match boss like Dark Link

or Dark Pit could be like, a costume for Pit !
