Personally, I don't care much for Geno, I wouldn't want him in Smash. I think there are various other Mario characters who could add much more diversity to Smash. If they were to rep the Mario RPGs, I'd much prefer a Mario&Luigi character or Paper Mario. I'd really love to see Bowser Jr. as a playable character though.

I doubt another Mario character will happen. 5 is enough. Zelda and Pokemon still need to catch up with that number. (Jigglypuff and Ganondorf most likely)

Ah!, so that's the game he cameo'd in, I'd heard from somewhere before that he cameo'd in another game sine SMRPG but I never found out which one, and unfortunatly, I've never played Superstar Saga





I know that, but since Geno is from a game that is made by Nintendo AND Square Enix, and has not made any major appearances since (sans the cameo in Superstar Saga), and since the game took place in the Mario-verse, I was confused as to who owned Geno, all I thought that Square helped with on the game was the story plot and the Final Fantasy References (Culex & The Four Crystals)

I think they could ask, the problem is if Square wanted to be rep'd I think they would reply that they wanted someone over Geno to rep them. The character's that get rep'd from 3rd party have to a mascot, or at least be immediately recognizable as a 3rd party character. Geno is in no way that.

They probably own Mallow too.

I know I'm way behind on this, but why is everyone expecting shulk? Simply because he's cool, was retweeted by monolith and is a part of the gematsu "leak"? Those alone aren't credible to say that it will be him for sure.
