thanks for all the replies guys. I have gamemaker but I never used it. I think of buying flash8 or CS3 to make the game. But for now I'll work the maps out.

Don't bother with CS3. Get 8 or CS4.

I've looked in the coder's paradise(or somewhere else. I forgotten) and according to that flash 8 was the best. hhhhm what do you guys think of it?

I've installed five versions of flash on my computer at once.

I'd recommend flash 8, and so would every other flash animator I've ever known.
