You have it backwards. Melee changed a lot of details in her dress and crown, changed her earrings, and made her skin darker. Brawl only changes the colors.

I play a lot on both stages, for the sake of balance. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in that respect, but if I am forgive my closed-mindedness. I just thought that both stages are deserving of similar features.

As for the skinn rebuff, I actually never saw or heard that. :I Makes a lot of sense if that's the case. Marth into Lucina isn't too ludicrous of an idea if you remember that she impersonated him in Awakening. Still, if Sakurai said that, then... yeah. Fat chances of that happening, even if he did just have the mask.

And Peach always has her own face in Daisy's colors/clothes. Her Melee and Brawl colorizations always looked kinda freaky and out-of-place. In Melee her complexion and brooch flower-thingy changed, but her unchanged face and makeup made it weird. The went halfway with the idea, anyway. That's what it seemed to me.

I feel like part of that belief comes from seeing the modding scene. Once you start modding Brawl, Ike stops being Ike and starts being "heavy swordsman moveset"

I'd love it if there was a daisy skin for peach. I say this because of Wii-Fit trainer, male and female. The only bad thing I'd see about this is personality clash. Daisy isn't some princess who will take that kinda bull from Bowser anyway.

Daisy is not Peach

Sports Peach (like in Mario Smash Football, for example, or Mario Super Sluggers) could be a thing.

That wouldn't work because she uses her dress in attacks.

Such as? She holds up the dress in a taunt, but I even without it it'll probabaly look like he's waving her arms or so.

Down Smash

The thing is, that only works for characters with "Generic Title" as their name. Pokemon Trainers, Wii-Fit Trainers, and Villagers could look like anyone because that's their title. Making Peach into Daisy wouldn't work because Peach is not Daisy. (It WOULD work if the slot was called Princess.)

TerminX, I see what you mean. The uniqueness of a character is devalued if others are jammed in their place like what I thought was okay. Now I understand, so thanks.

As for the Peach Vs. Daisy Argument, I only wish that they could do it a little better, I don't know how that could work. Peach just looks WEIRD with Daisy's colors/theme. Her face is too... Peachy, y'know?

she's not supposed to -be- daisy, though (in brawl, at least)

she's supposed to be peach with daisy's colours

just like mario is supposed to be mario with wario's colours and vice versa

and toon link is toon link with NES link's colours

and so on

Yeah, I get that, but the Melee one really looked weird, like Peach had plastic surgery or summat. Ick.

But enough about that, it's not important...

So how about Greninja's playstyle? He looked pretty good, but the trailer showed that he had weird moves and movements like improvisational footstool jumps (which I hope have been removed) and manual counters with his Substitute technique. Anyone see anything else unique besides those?
