Could someone please explain the thought process between wanting Mii in?

1. Mii is a avatar, and no matter what you say, he has moveset potential. Shokio may say there isn't
a chance for him, but think about it;

If you don't want fanboys crying about their character now being in, then you won't use it.

2. Not all people will use Miis on wi-fi.
Meta Knight was a broken cheap character. The wifi was NOT filled with Meta Knights.

3. Moveset Potential
He has a AMAZING moveset potential. Here's one I whipped up:

Combo; Logs Minigame (Wii Party)
Side A - Bat
Down A - Golf
Up A - Boxing Uppercut

Special - Tropical Punch!
Side Special - Zombie Tag
Down Special - Bowling
Up Special - Street Pass
Final Smash - Crash Balls

Easily one of the most representative things of the Wii/WiiU/3DS.
Wii Sports/Wii Fit/Wii Sports Resort/Spot Pass sold incredibly well collectively.
Customization options between characters.

That's what I came up with in one minute without any critical thinking.

He only exists to be customised though. This is a game where the move sets have to be made and fine tuned around a character. He has no character, he is literally suppose to be the player. I can understand forming a move set around various things he's done AS YOU in different games that have featured Mii's, but honestly it's all a bit weak to me Mii.

Yeah, and I put those two next to eachother because the default Mii looks like Villager.

i feel like villager already fills the role of "pulling random every-day objects out of nowhere". or something among those lines, it's really hard to put into words.

The supposed character leak with Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Mega Man, Little Mac, Pac-Man, and Mii.

But if alone, the Mii is normally affiliated with potentially being the customizable character for the 3DS.
