This is the only issue I have with Thanksgiving Day, why [some] US folks think is worldwide celebration? it was just a common thursday in most parts of the world. Never mind it's not important anyway, I hope no one gets offended for that firmly true affirmation.

Now moving on the day's shot, what the hell is that dark spark? some are claiming it is shield break but I'm unsure about that.

Does that mean depending on the day the move is stronger or weaker? Or is it random like Peach's turnips or GW's hammer and it varies on use? I hope/assume the latter but it was worded oddly.

Doubt it. At least, it will have an impact on the hitbox size.
