I'm definitely going to see it because my memories of that book make me feel cozy and warm. I don't care if it's bad or a stupid movie, it's automatically one of my favorites, now. I think that's what they were aiming for: Nostalgia. They want the older audience to watch this movie and remember their childhood, to experience it once more. To have something we can connect with in this growing day and age of modern atrocities and harsh elements. It's time to go back to the beginning. Back to where the wild things are.

When I was a kid, this book scared me like hell because of the monsters' appearences...

I have never expecteded this book to adapt into a movie. I can't wait to see it! It's so interesting! And the funny thing, it's just in time before Halloween...

I wonder what scenes from the book they are going to cut out in the movie?
(I hope it doesn't screw up like the movie "Eragon")

I like how the monsters turn out in the film. Looks exactly like they do in the book. When I fist heard that the movie was coming out I had expected it to be traditionally hand drawn, not live action. Judging from the trailer they might keep the beginning and the ending but change change alot of the plot. Despite that, I think I'll watch it anyway. Now, wheres my much damaged loved copy of the book?
