Hi, I just want to suggest/guess some assist trophies... Just like in all Smash, every playable franchise need at least one assist with them (exclude DLC). So it is maybe already in your plans...
Fourth party should only get one in my opinion, but i won't complain if they get more .

So for the Naruto franchise , "Sasuke" who's cut from playable is an obvious choice.

Pac-Man , "PacGhost".

Kingdom Hearts , "Riku" who's cut too and "King Mickey" maybe (KH Appearence not Disney one).

Kirby , "Marx", "Knuckle Joe" and "Dedede" got the potential chance (For Dedede, his Brawl Final Smash as an assist would be hilarious ).

Tales of , I don't know much the series, but i'll guess "Kratos" who's cut from playable.

Pokémon who usually don't get any, a "Pokémon Trainer" who's send 3 random pokéballs which actually is 3 pokémon from the pokéball item, the Trainer could randomly have Red, Blue or Leaf skin.

Bomberman , i don't know, probably a "Konami Rep" instead of a Bomberman Rep..."Snake" ?, "Simon" ?.

Golden Sun , "a member of his crew" or probably "the main antagonist of the game".

The Legend of Zelda , "Oot Ganon" if he is not planned on being playable, make sure to use its magic powers and flight then, or "Impa","Tingle","The Champions","Midna","Girahim","Vaati"...There plenty to choose from.

F-Zero ,"Samurai Goroh" or "Black Shadow" those are the name i heard a lot for Smash Ultimate F-Zero new rep...

Starfox , "Andross" and "Wolf" or maybe "Slippy" as a troll assist trophy .

Kid Icarus , "Black Pit", "Palutena", "Medusa", "Viridi", "Hades".

Chibi-Robo , Uh..."Giant Pencil, Paper and Rock falling from the sky? Maybe giant furniture like Lamp, Kitchen Knife, a Cell phone..." weird idea i know...

Game&Watch , "R.O.B", "Color TV-Game 15" ?

Dragon Ball , they already got "Krillin" but "Vegeta" being moved from Playable to Stage decors is harsh... "Krillin" do make more sense tho. if "Vegeta" still remain a Stage props, make it fight with Frieza on the background would be cool, just try to find something badass .

Donkey Kong , "Diddy" is unsure to be playable, if he is not, i can see him flying on top of the stage shooting with his Peanuts Gun shooting and chasing the enemies under him.

One Piece , it should be "one of his crew member" objectively, but i want "Ace" personally .

Super Smash Bros. , Frick'in "Tabuu" wing attack.

Sonic the Hedgehog , I know there is "Silver" but i just love this series too much to pass it, "Shadow" is in the list to be playable (maybe even in Ultimate ^^), "Knuckles" too, "Eggman" can be a good choice (i'm thinking his wrecking ball flying machine from the first Sonic and first boss, beatable the same way too).

and lastly Wario Ware , "Ashley" or "the Wah" (even if he is technically only a Mario characters).

I think "Saitama" can be added as an assist too, Here my idea : He just come and look around, if you try to attack him, it will be like you attack a wall or someone shield, when new people would see him and except a single one shot from him but instead they just got Saitama bored, standing on the stage... I found that very funny ^^. Optional, but if he's caught by someone Final Smash he'll just make his OK face . (something like Mario FS, or BlackMage FS, maybe Link FS too, it would be very funny sees Link just use it on Saitama and Saitama just not care at all).
And a second option is that on 1 chance of 7, he will deliver a single teleport one punch, you know..., because its sales day ^^.
And maybe if you attack him too much, he gets angry and punch you... Not really his style tho...

"Light" can be re-added with a clear visible range on screen and probably smaller (think Lucio aura circle rework in Overwatch), this way it kinda work like ashley zone in Sm4sh but more deadly...assist and pokémon could be affected by it too when they are enter in Light zone,
(it could also work like Light only write people who got a kill during his time in the stage but the zone limit would be too weak for this second options and the others players would just flee the entire time -_-).

"Mr.Incredibles" and "Inuyasha" could come back as assist trophies. Smash characters who will not be implemented could still make in as stages props or assist trophies (Personally, I would love Shulk being playable in SSF2 ).

Also got one off-topic ideas , from the Mario Bros. series, the double cherries, basically make a character doubled (kind of like Ice climbers) for a determined amount of time or infinite until one of the two is KO, they share the same % bar, so be careful when you eat it you might get double damage but double hurtbox too, of course u can't eat multiple double cherries.

I still wish Smart assist trophies like Viewtiful Joe were implemented in the game. I miss Renji.

With that out of the way, here's some possible ATs I want:

* the Moon: Crashes into the stage
* Slippy Toad: does nothing but cry for help
* Lethe: I have no idea but no one ever acknowledges Ike's cat friend.
* Jeff: fires bottle rockets
* Goroh: slashes repeatedly
* Inkling: Dunks on enemies with a Splat Roller.
* Space Harrier: Flies around the stage spamming bullets.
* Klonoa: Does his best deviantART impersonation and then performs double jumps on inflated enemies, burying them.
* Alucard: Slashes enemies with either the Crissaegrim or the Alucard Sword (your choice) and backdashes and uses his mist form to dodge attacks, just like in Ultimate, but unlike Ultimate, he can use Dark Inferno and Hellfire in his moveset.
* Future Trunks: Performs Burning Slash (the move that killed Mecha-Frieza).
* bring Light back but nerf him somehow
* Jotaro: ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA
* DIO: "ZA WARUDO! toki wo tomare!" then throws knives at your opponent, then drops the road roller on them and unfreezes time before vanishing.
