Name: Dominic "Dom" Burton
Age: 14
Year: 2nd
Appearance: Dom stands at exactly 6 feet with a lean muscular build. His short curly black hair reflects his mother's African heritage. His skin is a light brown, reflective of his father's background mixed with his mother's. Reflective of his personality, Dom never wears his uniform as directed. his blazer is commonly tied around his waist, his shirt is never buttoned up all the way, and his tie is always loosely tied.
Personality: Dom prefers to be on his own. He absolutely hates it when others try to command him around. Dom will do whatever he wants, when he wants, but won't speak his mind about it. Often he will just quietly slip away into his own world and wander with some sort of intention.
Biography: Dom is the result of a worst case scenario mistake. His mother was only 17 when she was raped by an unknown man. Being only a young adult living in the lower class area of Darren city, she couldn't support Dom on birth, so she gave him up to an orphanage, only occasionally visiting him. Dom felt that he was abandoned and his true family was with his friends at the orphanage. With only the minimal schooling provided at the orphanage, Dom never became very book smart and only trusted the knowledge he learned from his friends. It wasn't long until Dominic found his talent, breakdancing.

One day when he was having a session with a bunch of friends, Dom was in the center, showing off his moves to the crowd circled around him. When performing one of his favorite moves, the windmill, a huge gust of wind came out of Dom, pushing everyone around him a considerable distance back. Many injuries occurred from the impact. An ambulance was immediately called and dealt with the many injuries. When one of the medical attendants asked what happened, everyone pointed fingers to Dom and his phenomenon. Immediately Mr. Joshua Albright was called to the scene.

Due to Dom's gift, he had been invited to Arclight Academy solely to join the Darren Archive club. With rejection from all his friends now, calling him a freak, Dom had nowhere else to go. His first year at the Academy was his first year of proper schooling. Not caring too much about his education, Dom would constantly skip classes and he didn't even join the Darren Archive club. The bus crash sealed the deal of not joining.

When the school year was over, Dom had nowhere to go, and without his breakdancing, Dom couldn't stand summer break. Without other options, Dom reluctantly returned back to the Academy. After going a full year without dancing in fear of hurting someone again, Dom finally deiced to join the Darren Archive club, but being true to himself, he missed the first main meeting and field trip.

Yay!! We're finished chapter 1! This is the third RP that I have ever created and I'm glad to see it take off. Thanks to all of those who joined the RP. I'd also like to thank my co-gms, especially KP. <3

Now, I didn't originally intend to do this, but I came up with some awards for this chapter because a few of you guys did something that really had an impact on me, or this chapter in general. If I didn't give you an award, it's not that I didn't think you were important, or necessary, you just played a more background role for this chapter in my opinion.

MVP: I'm giving this award to both Thai and LG because of a myriad of reasons. For starters, they were fairly consistent posters throughout most of the chapter from the beginning at the school, the middle when they were dealing with the ghosts, and in the ending final battles. Their characters Adi and Logan were also pretty badass. Logan chucking his dirk into the demon's head definitely caught me off guard, and Adi's taking out of the possessed guys was pretty cool too. Favourite moment for these two was when Logan held the possessed guy and Adi literally knocked the demon out of the guy.

Sherlock: The sherlock award goes to Brik, because his character was the only one that took note of the whole "Dawn" "Miss Rachel" "Dr. Dawn" thing. It was a subtle thing that I didn't really think anyone was going to intentionally put together so it made me smile when he did.

Shakespeare: The Shakespeare award in my opinion has to go to KP, Alice and Phora really seemed to come alive in this chapter. Especially when Alice and Phora were in the room with those old lady ghosts. I love Phora <3

Power House: This most definitely has to go to Jin. Of everyone, I felt that Li really used his powers in diverse ways throughout the chapter. By no means does it mean that he is the most powerful, BUT, he just really used his powers a lot. I almost want to give him an upgrade on his limits despite being an upperclassmen.

Reckless Hero: I gave this one to Nixter because his character most definitely fits the young fiery teen hero archetype. Carter even has the cheesy lines Definitely one of my favourites. lol Careful though >.> Don't want to get yourself killed running headlong into these situations.

Personal Favourite Memorable Moments:

Again, when Logan chucked his dirk into the demoness' head.
The old lady ghost scene with Alice.
Adi dealing with the poltergeist all sassy-like.
August using his abilities for the first time in battle against the creepy burned ghost.
When Carter decided to book it when faced with the angry girl ghost.

August: As of yet he is unaware of his ability to control fire and heat. However, should he have access to an open flame, Through concentration he is able to make the flame grow in size and intensity and project its path. For now his manipulation over fire is unrefined not permitting him to shape it deftly or manipulate it's movements with precision. He is also resistant to heat and flames. Fire will still burn him, though to a much lesser degree than those without his ability. > Through concentration he is able to make open flames grow in size and intensity and project its path. Are upperclassmen going to get any sort of limit upgrades at all as we go on?

Upperclassmen get limit upgrades at the end of chapter 2 along with the underclassmen. I think starting from chapter 3 upgrades are going to be strictly dependent on how often someone uses their powers, rather than an automatic upgrade. Though a character could choose to simply be better at fighting with a weapon rather than using their powers.

From a development standpoint, Adi has reached a plateau. Short of granting him something completely new I don't think he'll ever change out of his role of beating demons and ghosts up with his bare hands.

Her more feminine feature haven't developed yet due to her age (depending on how long this goes on they may develop more).Due to her asian heritage she has soft attractive features. Her eyes are a striking blue that resembles a pair of sapphires.
She wears a black and white vest (or jacket depending on the season.). She has long white rain boots with black strings, that cover any panty hose she's wearing.She also wears a plaid skirt.When she's allowed she wears her father's sword which has a sheath mad from a birch tree with a black cloth wrapped around it.
Personality:She is kind but if you insult her fashion sense you'll regret it. She is also rash and can cause other to get injure during battles

Phew! That was a lot of work.

The first page has been extremely revamped.

There are 3 new artes: ARTES NOTATORUM LIBERARE, the original idea courtesy of WereBob (aka Deciton), ARTES PORTARUM - GATEKEEPERS OF THE VEIL, and ARTES VITRI - GLASS SEERS.

ARTES ORACULORUM - THE SPEAKERS, is an NPC ONLY arte. It's just for those who are curious about what the heck Miss Rachel is. Also take note that the Liber Artium is an actual book in this world, so anyone could read it, to read up on artes.

A chapter 1 summary is now up! I think I covered most of everything. Accepted characters had to be split into 2 posts, because I was running out of characters. Everyone has been accepted. Updates have been made to profiles, note that Max and August are now roommates. I will be giving out new roommates if one of the characters have been inexplicably absent. So if Green doesn't come back by the start of chapter 2 Logan's roommate will probably be Dom, same with Lotus and Evelyn.

Name: Yamikatsu Tsubaki
Age: 14
Year: 2nd
Appearance: Tsubaki is four foot eight, but wears knee high white boots with three inch heels, making her appear taller. Especially when combined with her hair, which is collected in a large blue bead on the top of her head, producing a high-volume hair style that takes her black upper-back length hair and instead makes it end just past the top of her shoulders. Her brown eyes are nothing special, she has a nose that is small and close to her face, and she has thin lips and eyebrows. She's still growing so she's a 'tween' kind of thin, with small breasts. She follows the dress code very closely, and does not accessorize.

On missions or very special occasions she wears a ceremonial white dress. It is a mix of both western and eastern styles, having three layers to it, a kimono style waist band, and large, round, bell styled sleeves. Hanging from the sleeves are sets of three blue beads, akin to the one in Tsubaki's hair. It isn't as restrictive as it first seems, but wouldn't be most people's first choice for demon fighting attire.

Personality: The word tsubaki means camellia, also know as the fragrance-less flower, and at first that seems to describe Tsubaki. She is studious, and shy. She rarely voices her opinion when it would trivial. It even seems that she would rather be alone with nature, than to deal with other people. This actually because she doesn't know how to deal with others. When Tsubaki is comfortable in her surroundings she is a much livelier person, and has a habit of singing to herself.
Biography: Tsubaki comes from a line of Notatorum disciples, so from an early age she was tested to she if she too would become an omnivident, the results were promising. Despite preferring to play outside, she was forced to study the
Librum Artium and other materials to prepare herself for what would come. The way she took the information there in pointed to her becoming a Notatorum like her mother, however her sigils were not like the sigils of others. Actually, to be frank, they sucked. They were drawn too hastily, and were too free form to be effective. She was soon switched over to Angelorum training, taking into account her obedient nature, and at the same time was enrolled into a dance class to start developing her athleticism. She took to dance positively, as it allowed her to express herself, but didn't play well with others, a sign pointing further towards being Angelorum but was just a result of being a shut-in during her early childhood years. It wasn't until she was caught alone dancing with ribbons that seemingly vanished, that her mother realized her daughter's true arte, Notatorum Liberare.

As far a schooling goes, Tsubaki has always been a passive learner. She takes in knowledge, then comes up with her own way to say it and understand it. Sometimes that method leads her to apply knowledge to a situation that it doesn't really apply to. She never really had friends, and didn't enjoy being at the top of her class, so she has been know to purposely score lower than she is capable of. In junior-high she to a liking to choir, and, although rough, she had the voice and vocal range to be quite good at it. However once accepted to her high-school of choice (there was only really one choice for an omnivident anyways) she did not have time for other activities besides the Archive Club of Nankota Prep. The way Nankota Prep's Archive Club ran was in a teacher-student, one-on-one, training. And while Tsubaki's sensei did everything he could to help her learn to use her powers, he was not able to fully grasp them himself. Arrangements were made with Arclight Academy to enroll Tsubaki in a "foreign exchange program", in hopes that the Academy's methods of training, and authority in dealing with omnividents might be more beneficial to her.

Tsubaki didn't have much of a reaction to the explosion, because she was in Japan and didn't even know about it.
